Fed Rate Hike Looms Over Bitcoin Market
Yi Lihua, founder of Liquid Capital, has weighed in on the potential impact of the Federal Reserve's decision on interest rates on Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market. According to Lihua, if the Fed raises interest rates, Bitcoin could experience short-term downward volatility, potentially falling below $76,000.
However, if the Fed decides not to raise interest rates, the current upward trend in the market may continue. Lihua believes that unleveraged spot trading is a more suitable approach due to market uncertainty.
Lihua identifies three significant investment opportunities for the upcoming period: the spot market for major crypto assets like Bitcoin and Ethereum, transaction infrastructure, and the move of stock trading and IPOs to the blockchain. He notes that these areas have potential returns of approximately four times, up to 100 times, and higher-quality emerging assets, respectively.
