The U.S. federal budget deficit surged to $432 billion in July, its largest monthly deficit since March 2021, catapulting the 2026 fiscal-year-to-date budget gap to a staggering $1.8 trillion.

This has sent shockwaves through the crypto community, with many predicting that the surge in money printing will send the Bitcoin price sharply higher.

Crypto investor Anthony Pompliano believes that the people in Washington DC are 'absolutely ridiculous' for continuing to print money and that this will ultimately lead to a significant increase in the value of Bitcoin.

Pompliano, who is also the chief executive of ProCap Financial, predicts that the Bitcoin price will climb by an average of 30% every year for over 20 years.
