Felix Pago Secures $200 Million for Stablecoin Remittance Expansion
Felix Pago, a stablecoin remittance startup, has secured $200 million in Series B funding to expand its services.
The investment includes an equity component of $87 million led by Andreessen Horowitz and a $113 million credit facility from General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund.
Felix Pago utilizes stablecoins and blockchain infrastructure to facilitate cross-border payments through WhatsApp, having already processed over $8 billion in remittances to date.
The company plans to leverage this funding to develop an AI-powered financial assistant and expand into lending and savings products.
