FG Nexus Abandons Ethereum Treasury Strategy Amid $45M Loss
FG Nexus has made a significant shift in its strategy by ending its Ethereum treasury strategy and selling all its digital assets. This move comes less than a year after the launch of this strategy, which has resulted in a $45.2 million loss for the company in the first half of 2026.
The company generated only $144,000 from staking revenue while selling off its Ethereum holdings brought in around $61 million in cash. In addition to these sales, FG Nexus collected receivables in July, providing a slight boost to its financials.
Despite the losses, FG Nexus plans to redirect capital from digital assets to cash-flowing real estate, focusing on manufactured housing. However, no definitive deals have been made yet.
