Fidelity Ethereum Fund Boosts Ether Staking with Anchorage Digital and BitGo Partnerships
Fidelity's Ethereum Fund has taken significant steps to expand its ether staking program. The fund has entered into multiple agreements, including custodial services contracts with Anchorage Digital and BitGo, to provide institutional custody and support staking via trusted node operators.
The agreements establish the operating framework for the fund's planned staking activities. As part of these arrangements, FD Funds Management will allocate 15% of staking rewards to cover fees shared among the sponsor, custodians, and node operators, with Fidelity Ethereum Fund retaining 85%.
These developments mark a significant milestone in Fidelity's efforts to support ether staking. By partnering with established players like Anchorage Digital and BitGo, the fund aims to provide a secure and efficient platform for investors to participate in this growing market.
