Fidelity has filed an amendment to its Form S-3 registration statement with the U.S. SEC, allowing its Fidelity Crypto Ethereum Fund (FETH) to stake up to 100% of its ether holdings.

The fund's sponsor, FD Funds Management LLC, made the filing on July 24, 2026, which updates a prior S-1 that was declared effective by the SEC on July 31, 2025.

The amendment explicitly states that no additional securities are being registered and outlines the fund's plans to stake ether through custodians and node operators, retaining 85% of gross staking rewards for itself and allocating 15% as a Staking Fee split among the Sponsor, custodians, and node operators.

The mechanism is designed to allow FETH to earn staking rewards without requiring additional SEC approval, but staking cannot begin until the SEC registration becomes effective.
