Fidelity Joins Crypto Lobbyists Urging Senate Passage of CLARITY Act
Fidelity, one of the world's top asset managers, is urging the US Senate to pass the CLARITY Act. The company believes that clear regulations for digital assets are crucial in strengthening investor confidence and reinforcing US leadership in global crypto markets.
The CLARITY Act aims to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets in the US. It has gained support from various financial firms and crypto organizations, including the Crypto Council for Innovation, the Digital Chamber, and the Blockchain Association.
Fidelity joins Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong in calling for a full Senate floor vote on the bill. The company manages $7.1 trillion in assets, according to its 2025 annual report. Republicans hold a slim majority in the Senate, requiring at least 60 votes for the bill to pass.
