Fidelity Joins Push for Senate Passage of CLARITY Act
Fidelity, one of the world's top asset managers, has joined the chorus calling for Senate passage of the CLARITY Act. The bill aims to establish a regulatory framework for digital assets in the US.
The company, ranked third-largest by the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute with $7.1 trillion in managed assets as of its 2025 annual report, cited the need for clear regulations to boost investor confidence and US leadership in global crypto markets.
Fidelity's call comes after a coalition of financial firms and crypto organizations urged Senate leaders to advance digital asset market structure legislation. The CLARITY Act needs 60 votes to pass, with Republicans holding a slim majority in the Senate.
