Fidelity's Bitcoin Fund Sees $15.5M Inflows Amid Fragile Market Structure
Fidelity's Bitcoin fund saw a significant turnaround in July as it recorded $15.5 million in daily net inflows, reversing its previous day's $43 million outflow. This marked the end of FBTC's recent run of mostly negative flows.
The inflow was part of a broader trend among US Spot Bitcoin ETFs, with seven other funds also recording gains during the same session. The combined daily total net inflow reached $233 million, its highest level in three weeks.
While this improvement in demand from institutional investors is welcome news for Bitcoin enthusiasts, experts caution that it may not be enough to sustain a reversal of the current market trend. The Coinbase Premium Index remained negative, indicating weaker demand from US-based investors.
