Fidelity's Ethereum ETF (FETH) has taken a significant step forward in its development. According to recent filings with the SEC, Fidelity plans to introduce staking features to FETH, allowing it to distribute staking revenue to investors as regular cash payments.

The fund will be able to stake up to 100% of its Ethereum holdings under normal market conditions, although there is no minimum staking percentage. However, Fidelity may hold a portion of its assets without staking them in order to meet investor buyback requests or cover operational expenses.

Fidelity has stated that it will cover fund expenses before distributing staking income to investors. The remaining net staking income will be paid out as cash at least every three months, with Fidelity reserving the right to sell Ethereum if necessary to finance payments to investors.
