Figure Tech Shatters Estimates as Blockchain-Powered Lending Soars
Figure Technology Solutions has released its Q2 earnings report, exceeding Wall Street estimates in every key metric. The company's net income more than quadrupled and revenue doubled year over year, with a profit of $0.35 per share beating the consensus estimate by 52%. Revenue reached $218.45 million, surpassing analyst predictions by about 5%.
Figure operates at the intersection of traditional consumer lending and blockchain technology, using its Provenance Blockchain platform to tokenize loans and settle them on-chain. This approach allows for faster processing and lower costs, resulting in higher margins for the company.
The strong quarter is largely attributed to Figure's SEC-registered yield-bearing security, YLDS, which reached $598 million outstanding by the end of Q1 2026. This product functions similarly to an interest-bearing stablecoin but carries regulatory approval that most stablecoin issuers lack.
