Fireblocks Unveils EU-Focused Strategy to Address Jurisdictional Risks for European Banks

Share

Fireblocks has unveiled an EU-focused architecture to address jurisdictional risks for European financial institutions. The infrastructure provider aims to aid banks in complying with the Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation (MiCA), which is becoming a cornerstone of digital asset governance across Europe.

The company operates its SaaS platform exclusively within EU borders, deploying infrastructure across four European countries to ensure operational resilience. Redundancy is built into the system, ensuring no single failure disrupts the platform.

Fireblocks' technical architecture also features multi-party computation (MPC) key management, which ensures that private key material never leaves the client's environment. Clients can also reconstruct private keys independently, enabling seamless migrations to other platforms if needed.
