Five-Day Streak: Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs Draw In $492 Million
The influx of funds into Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs has reached unprecedented levels. Over the past five days, spot crypto ETF flows have consistently shown positive net inflows, with both asset classes pulling in significant amounts. On August 21, spot Bitcoin ETFs added $307 million in net inflows, while spot Ethereum ETFs gained $185 million.
This symmetry is notable, as Ethereum ETFs usually lag or leak assets during risk-off stretches. However, the multi-day streak across both asset classes suggests that the buying is not limited to a single narrative, such as a flight to Bitcoin quality.
While the daily inflow of $307 million is not historically extreme, consistency carries different information than size. Five straight days imply investors are re-entering exposure through regulated wrappers rather than waiting for spot exchanges to show stronger momentum.
