Flare Network Rolls Out Smart Accounts v1.3, Expanding XRP Ecosystem

The Flare Network continues to build and expand its ecosystem around XRP, despite the asset's price action being heavily influenced by broader crypto market sentiment.

On July 28, Flare announced that Smart Accounts v1.3 is now live, allowing users to move XRP into curated vaults using a single signature from an existing XRPL wallet.

This update eliminates the need for a separate EVM wallet, gas token, or manual bridging, with Flare Smart Accounts automatically handling minting, deposits, and yield generation while remaining non-custodial.

Despite this technical progress, the FLR token has continued to weaken, reflecting broader market pressure rather than a lack of ecosystem updates.
