Flare Simplifies XRP Access to DeFi with Smart Accounts v1.3

Flare has released Smart Accounts v1.3, allowing XRP holders to easily access decentralized finance (DeFi) vaults without manual bridging or complex processes.

This update simplifies FXRP minting and yield farming for XRP holders by enabling a single XRPL wallet signature to deposit into yield-generating vaults.

According to Flare, the amount of FXRP deployed in DeFi has grown by nearly 75% since February 2026, with over 40 million XRP currently earning yield through Smart Accounts and more than 24,000 accounts created.

The update also expands the range of yield strategies available through Flare Smart Accounts, including the addition of the Clearstar Flare XRP Yield Vault.
