Florida Gators Partner With Ripple for Multi-Year XRP Logo Deal
The University of Florida's athletic department has announced a multi-year partnership with Ripple, the provider of blockchain solutions for traditional and digital finance. As part of the agreement, the XRP logo will be prominently featured on the field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium starting from the 2026 football season.
The deal is expected to generate $5 million annually for the Gators, making it one of the most lucrative field logo deals in college football. Beyond branding at the stadium, digital properties and event signage will also be part of the partnership.
Ripple will support financial and technology education for Florida student-athletes and the campus community, covering both traditional finance and digital assets like XRP. The cryptocurrency operates on the XRP Ledger (XRPL), an open-source, decentralized blockchain that settles transactions in 3-5 seconds at a fraction of a cent.
