Florida Gators Welcome XRP to Their Pitch
Ripple, the company behind XRP, has landed a major sponsorship deal with the University of Florida's athletic department.
The multi-year partnership will display the XRP logo on the playing surface at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium in Gainesville.
The branding debuted during the 2026 Florida football season, and the Gators are scheduled to host Florida Atlantic in their season opener on Saturday.
Ripple did not disclose the financial terms of the deal, but a source familiar with the negotiations told The Associated Press that it is expected to generate $5 million per year for Florida.
