FLOW Protocol Hacked for $9.3M as Crypto Exploits Reach $139.7M
A recent incident involving DeFi protocol More Markets has shed light on potential security vulnerabilities in lending reserves. According to blockchain security firm Blockaid, approximately $9.3 million of digital assets were drained from a lending reserve on Flow EVM.
The attack allegedly used Ankr Staked FLOW (ankrFLOW), a liquid staking token, together with the efficiency-mode borrowing feature (E-mode) introduced in Aave V3.
Blockaid's analysis showed that about 15.5 million Wrapped Flow (WFLOW) tokens were taken from the mFlowWFLOW reserve, valued at around $9.3 million.
