Flowdesk Secures Full Broker-Dealer License in Dubai

Share

Flowdesk has secured a full broker-dealer license in Dubai from the Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA), allowing its local entity, Flowdesk Omega FZE, to provide regulated crypto services to qualified and institutional investors within the emirate. The authorization follows an in-principle approval granted in June 2026.

The license permits Flowdesk to conduct broker-dealer activities for institutional clients located in Dubai or accessing its services from there. This is a significant milestone for the company, which aims to bring rigor and compliance to how it serves institutional and qualified clients in the region, as stated by Guilhem Chaumont, co-founder and CEO of Flowdesk Group.

This latest approval complements Flowdesk's existing MiCA authorization in France, which allows the company to provide regulated crypto services across eligible EU markets through the Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) passporting system. The Dubai license does not grant operating rights in the EU, while the French entity's MiCA authorization does not provide access to UAE customers under MiCA.
