Flowra, a blockchain infrastructure company, has introduced its Open Orderflow Auction (OOA) on the Solana network to boost validator revenue. The new framework aims to increase competitive dynamics in Solana's maximal extractable value (MEV) market.

The OOA enables registered searchers to compete in an open auction for transaction inclusion, allowing validators to capture a greater share of MEV-related value. Flowra stated that its OOA setup outperformed previous solutions during early tests, with a single validator's compute units processed per block increasing by 20.6%, and block fees higher than those of similar validator clients.

Alongside the auction framework, Flowra introduced the Programmable Block Policy feature, which allows validators to set custom transaction inclusion rules at the block-building layer. This enhances flexibility for regulatory and institutional compliance without making changes to Solana's underlying protocol.
