FOMC Decision Seen as Limited Catalyst for Bitcoin Price Movement

According to K33, a financial and crypto research firm, this week's Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) interest-rate decision is unlikely to have a significant impact on the Bitcoin market. In their latest report, K33 noted that the Nasdaq has been experiencing strong upward momentum, while Bitcoin continues to trade sideways with low volatility.

The correlation between the two assets may be weakening, as suggested by the current market conditions. This means that investors should not expect a direct reaction from Bitcoin prices in response to the FOMC decision.

Vetle Lunde, Head of Research at K33, commented on the matter, stating that 'the latest FOMC meeting may have a limited effect on Bitcoin prices compared with periods when monetary-policy uncertainty was higher in the past.'
