Crypto trading app FOMO has denied allegations of an iOS hack that led to $6 million in losses, according to its co-founder Prashan Dharmasena. He rejected the accusations, stating that the cited wallet shows no transactions signed by FOMO's fee payer.

The controversy began when Derivatives_Ape, a user on X, claimed that a recent update to the iOS version of FOMO caused losses of around $6 million. However, Dharmasena described the situation as 'paid fud,' or disinformation coordinated with financial motivation.

An investigation by ZachXBT revealed that Derivatives_Ape is actually a co-founder of ZKasino, a project accused of stealing $30 million from investors. The transaction in question does exist on the Solana blockchain, but what remains disputed is whether a bug in FOMO's code caused the movement or if it was authorized by the wallet's owner.
