The National Fraternal Order of Police has added its support to the Clarity Act, a bill aimed at regulating the crypto market. The organization, which represents law enforcement officers in the US, sent a letter to Democratic senators Elizabeth Warren and Timothy Eugene Scott expressing its approval for the latest version of the bill.

The revised Clarity Act includes provisions that would allow state and local law enforcement agencies to better protect consumers, investigate financial crimes, and coordinate with federal partners. It also establishes safeguards against fraud and victimization involving digital asset kiosks and related activity.

The bill has received support from top crypto advocacy groups, including the Crypto Council for Innovation, Blockchain Association, and the Digital Chamber. These organizations argue that passing the Clarity Act is necessary to establish a comprehensive federal consumer protection framework for digital asset markets.
