CK Zheng, former global valuation risk manager at Credit Suisse, has made a bullish prediction for Bitcoin's price. According to Zheng, the worst period for BTC may be over and he believes it could reach $150,000 by the end of 2027.

Zheng cited reduced regulatory uncertainty, continued institutional adoption, and potential adoption of the CLARITY Act in the US as factors that could support a new bull cycle. He also noted that growing US government debt could increase demand for Bitcoin and gold, as investors may prefer them as hedges against dollar erosion.

Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor announced that his company has resumed buying BTC, purchasing an additional 4,603 units for approximately $370 million. As of August 30, 2026, Strategy held a total of 845,050 BTC with a market value of around $66.4 billion at the current price.
