Fortitude Expands Zcash Mining Operations with Nebraska Data Center Acquisition

Barry Silbert, CEO of Digital Currency Group (DCG), has announced that DCG-controlled mining platform Fortitude has acquired a new 12.5 MW data center in Prosser, Nebraska.

The deal, valued at approximately $4.7 million, brings Fortitude's total owned power portfolio beyond 60 MW and expands DCG's industrial foundation for mining Zcash (ZEC).

Silbert, a prominent entrepreneur in the crypto industry, has been vocal about his support for financial privacy and has stated that he believes it is 'a fundamental right.'
