Franklin Templeton Exec Appointed CEO of StablecoinX
StablecoinX has appointed Christopher Jensen as its new chief executive officer. Jensen brings experience from Franklin Templeton's digital asset efforts, where he served as a portfolio manager and director of digital asset research.
The appointment underscores the shift in leadership within publicly traded crypto vehicles towards personnel with traditional asset-management experience.
Jensen replaces Ted Chen, who led StablecoinX through its public listing in June. Chen will continue as chairman of the company's board.
StablecoinX trades on Nasdaq under the ticker USDE and is closely tied to Ethena's synthetic dollar product, USDe. The company holds approximately 3.03 billion ENA tokens, which represents about 20% of the token's total supply.
