Franklin Templeton has expanded its tokenized products to HashKey Exchange in Hong Kong. The Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Liquidity Fund, traded as grBENJI, invests in US government money market instruments and dollar cash assets.

The fund is available only to professional investors and tracks the short end of the Treasury curve. Its returns currently yield around 3.6% over seven and 30 days, with a net asset value of $1.00.

HashKey's CEO, Haiyang Ru, said the listing addressed institutional demand for compliant real-world asset yields. Franklin Templeton plans to expand its tokenized offerings beyond money market funds into other products.
