Franklin Templeton has expanded its tokenized U.S. government money market fund in Asia through HashKey Exchange.

The Hong Kong-licensed platform added grBENJI to its Earn channel on August 24 for eligible investors.

The Franklin OnChain U.S. Government Liquidity Fund invests mainly in U.S. government money market instruments and U.S. dollar cash assets, accessible through blockchain-based infrastructure.

Only professional investors in Hong Kong can access the product, which will not be launched through a public offering in the city.

The partnership between Franklin Templeton and HashKey provides an avenue for distributing tokenized products across Asia.
