French Crypto Thief Linked to $667K Home Invasion Heist

Crypto investigator ZachXBT has linked a handle called M1llionz to $667,000 in cryptocurrency stolen during two home invasions in France. The attacker stole about 7.2 Bitcoin, worth roughly $557,000 at the time, from one victim on April 17 before taking another $110,000 in crypto from a second victim.

ZachXBT's investigation also prompted Tether to freeze 93,507.51 USDT tied to the case. The investigator said he traced the stolen funds through Chainflip and three KuCoin deposit addresses, with about $108,000 later moving through Ethereum before being converted into USDT.

The timing of deposits and withdrawals helped connect the transactions, but links remain circumstantial when funds pass through exchanges, making it harder to identify the individuals behind them. ZachXBT reported his findings to Tether and law enforcement, and Tether's monitoring data shows the linked address was blacklisted on April 24.

ZachXBT said M1llionz is linked to the EMPIRE Telegram channel, which advertises bank-fraud services and recruits scammers. No arrests, charges or convictions have been announced in connection with this case.
