The FTSE 100 index rose 0.20% on Tuesday as investors remained optimistic about the broader market, despite ongoing geopolitical tensions.

The rally comes as Bitcoin reached three-month highs, climbing 0.86% to $79,134 after touching $81,237.94 in Asian hours, its strongest level since mid-May, up 28% in August.

Jean-Pierre Bessent's economic isolation plan targeting Dubai-based exchange houses and networks in Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE had a limited market impact as it lacked specifics, according to Jefferies' Mohit Kumar. He estimated that the U.S. Treasury's potential use of its $1 trillion General Account to fund bond buybacks adds only around $14 billion against roughly $148 billion of supply through early November.
