21Shares' US-listed crypto exchange-traded funds will switch to FTSE Russell benchmarks at market open on August 27, 2026. The change affects seven funds: ARK 21shares Bitcoin ETF, Ethereum, Solana, XRP, Sui, Dogecoin, and Polkadot.

The affected funds will track matching FTSE Russell digital asset indexes. For example, the ARKB fund will now track the FTSE Bitcoin Index. The transition follows a similar move by 21Shares in March 2026 for its European and Australian products.

Fiona Bassett, CEO of FTSE Russell, said that this partnership reflects years of work building rules-based digital asset benchmarks. Duncan Moir, President at 21shares, noted that global crypto ETP and ETF assets have already passed $106 billion.
