Fundstrat's Tom Lee Backs BlackRock's Bullish View on Bitcoin
Tom Lee of Fundstrat Global Advisors believes that the rapidly increasing capabilities of AI and robotics make cryptocurrencies more relevant today. This aligns with BlackRock's view on Bitcoin's long-term investment case, which remains intact despite a roughly 50% drawdown from its October 2025 high. In fact, according to BlackRock's revised 10-year analysis, a small 1-2% allocation of Bitcoin would have improved risk-adjusted returns in a traditional 60/40 portfolio.
Lee echoed BlackRock's sentiment, anticipating 'growing use cases' for crypto and stating that Ethereum would be 'the most important L1,' referring to layer-1 blockchains. This view is supported by BlackRock's report, which noted that Bitcoin's role as an emerging global monetary alternative may offer investors a potential hedge against fiat debasement amid rising government debt and persistent fiscal deficits.
