Fusaka Uplifts Ethereum Capacity, Triggers Corporate Buying Spree
Ethereum's mainnet successfully upgraded to Fusaka on December 3, introducing significant changes to its network architecture. This upgrade increases data capacity eightfold, allowing for faster and more efficient processing of transactions.
The two key technical components of the Fusaka hard fork are PeerDAS, which restructures data handling across nodes, and new cryptographic tools that speed up transaction processing and clarify wallet interactions.
Crypto treasury firm BitMine purchased $150 million worth of Ether just one day after the upgrade went live, bringing its total accumulation towards a target of 5% of ETH's circulating supply to over $300 million.
