Fuze Finance Enters Switzerland with SO-FIT Approval
Fuze Finance has expanded its presence to Switzerland after obtaining approval as an affiliated financial intermediary from the Supervisory Organisation for Financial Intermediaries and Trustees (SO-FIT). This move marks Fuze's entry into Western Europe, adding to its regulated operations in the Middle East, Turkey, and Canada. The company emphasizes that this status places its Swiss operation under supervision for compliance with the country's Anti-Money Laundering Act.
Fuze targets banks, fintechs, and wealth managers by providing crypto-asset infrastructure and stablecoin settlement alongside conventional SWIFT, SEPA, and Swiss Interbank Clearing rails. Its product set includes institutional crypto brokerage, agency-based over-the-counter execution, and embedded brokerage services. For private banks and wealth managers, Fuze will deliver services through Swiss-regulated partner banks and fintechs under a fully disclosed model.
The company's expansion into Switzerland is led by Gianluca Masini, who serves as the country manager for Switzerland. Chief Executive Mo Ali Yusuf stated that Swiss banks and fintechs need 'secure, regulated infrastructure suitable for the future of finance.' However, it remains to be seen how well Fuze will be received in the market.
