G2 Esports secured their spot in the FISSURE Playground #3 semi-finals with a dominating 2-0 sweep over FURIA Esports on September 11 at Suzhou, China. The team's roster of huNter-, NertZ, r1nkle, HeavyGod, and MATYS found their rhythm early on Ancient, carrying it into Dust2 where they dismantled FURIA 13-3.

The first map was a nail-biter, ending 16-14 in favor of G2. However, the second map told a different story as FURIA struggled to keep up with G2's pace.

The tournament features a $1 million prize pool and a field of top-tier organizations invited to compete in Suzhou. The double-elimination format provides teams with a safety net during the group stage, but once playoffs begin, it's single-elimination territory.
