Gadot Defends AI Use in Bitcoin Thriller: 'Work With It or Be Out of the Game'
Gal Gadot stars in the $70 million thriller Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi, which uses artificial intelligence to generate sets and lighting.
The film, directed by Doug Liman, features Gadot alongside Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson, and Isla Fisher. The story follows the hunt for Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator, moving across continents and 200 locations.
Gadot's contract took six months to negotiate, with her lawyers focusing on protecting her from AI involvement in her performance. 'This was the longest contract I have ever worked on,' she said.
The film's use of AI has sparked some concern among actors' unions, with SAG calling Gadot's lawyers for pointers on updating its own agreements to protect other actors.
