Gadot Defends Bitcoin Film's AI Use: 'Work With It or Be Out'
Gal Gadot, star of 'Wonder Woman', has spoken out about her role in the upcoming Bitcoin thriller 'Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi'. The film was produced using artificial intelligence tools, a move that made Gadot wary. However, she chose to work with AI rather than be left behind in an industry where it's becoming increasingly prevalent.
Gadot told the Happy Sad Confused podcast that her lawyers spent six months reviewing her contract to 'protect' her from AI, particularly when it came to her performance. The actress stated that while the AI component of the film was used for set and lighting, she had full control over her own acting.
The film's producer, Ryan Kavanaugh, has estimated that using AI tools saved over $200 million compared to traditional shooting methods. 'Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi' is a $70 million thriller directed by Doug Liman, following the hunt for Bitcoin's pseudonymous creator. The cast includes Gadot alongside Casey Affleck, Pete Davidson, and Isla Fisher.
