The movie was filmed on a 'markerless performative capture stage,' with Liman using AI technology to create sets and lighting at a significantly lower budget of $70 million compared to the estimated range of $200-300 million.

Gadot defended her decision to star in the film, stating that she was aware of the AI component and took precautions to protect her performance. She emphasized that while she has concerns about AI, she chose to work with it and learn from the experience.
