Actress Gal Gadot believes that artificial intelligence (AI) will soon be unavoidable in filmmaking. In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, she noted that the industry has no choice but to adapt to AI's rapid development. 'You either work with it, or you're completely out of the game,' Gadot said.

Gadot was speaking about her experience working on a new film called Bitcoin, which used AI technology to create sets and lighting. However, she emphasized that AI should not be allowed to interfere with an actor's performance. 'I'm not in favor of uncontrolled use of AI,' she said.

The actress revealed that it took six months to negotiate the relevant terms for her role in Bitcoin. Her lawyers had to anticipate different scenarios and legally limit how AI could work with her likeness. The issue even drew attention from the SAG actors' union, which sought recommendations on updating contractual protections for other actors.
