Galaxy Deploys On-Site Emergency Response Team for Helios Data Center
Galaxy has bolstered safety at its Helios Data Center Campus in Dickens County, Texas by partnering with industrial safety provider Total Safety to establish a 24-hour emergency response team.
The on-site responders will provide fire, rescue, paramedic, and EMT coverage, reducing pressure on local volunteer emergency services. The nearest trauma center is approximately 60 miles away in Lubbock, making immediate medical care essential for campus incidents.
Galaxy's expansion of Helios from a former Bitcoin mining facility into an AI and high-performance computing center has increased the need for industrial safety measures. Total Safety will provide continuous emergency coverage for incidents originating at the campus, including fire response, technical rescue, paramedic care, and EMT support.
