Garlinghouse Urges Lawmakers to Finalize CLARITY Act
Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse has urged lawmakers to 'finish the job' on key legislation, including the CLARITY Act.
In a recent statement, Garlinghouse expressed his gratitude for being part of the White House gathering in late August, which aimed to make the United States a global crypto capital.
Garlinghouse's comments come after Commodity Futures Trading Commission Chair Michael Selig discussed the landmark event. The White House has promised to bolster talks on the approval of the CLARITY Act once the Senate's Banking Committee returns to work in mid-September.
The current schedule suggests that the House may spend 14 legislative sessions before heading off for another recess, potentially pushing the act to year-end 2026. The procedural vote is set for September 15, 2026, a date that has XRP holders marking their calendars.
