Gate Expands into US Equities with Over 10,000 Stocks through Alpaca Partnership

Crypto exchange Gate has expanded into US equities by partnering with Alpaca's brokerage and custody infrastructure. This move follows Binance adding 7,000 US stocks to its platform in June.

The partnership allows Gate users access to more than 10,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs through Gate Stocks, as well as initial public offering allocations and tokenized stocks.

Eligible users can request allocations in US IPOs, and Alpaca provides the brokerage infrastructure for these products. The company's infrastructure also handles the custody and settlement of underlying shares.
