GCC SME Financing Gap Targets $250 Billion with New Tokenized Private Credit Fund
Zamanat Fund CEIC Limited has launched a tokenized private credit fund to address the GCC's $250 billion SME financing gap. The DIFC-domiciled fund, with a target size of up to $100 million, will invest in strong homegrown companies whose financing needs are not met through traditional lending channels.
The fund combines regional private credit strategy with institutional administration and digital issuance on ZIGChain. It is regulated by the DFSA and has the support of Apex Group as administrator.
Umair Tariq, Founder and CEO of Zamanat, said: 'Strong businesses across the GCC still struggle to access growth capital despite sound fundamentals.'
