Gemini Enables Direct XRPL Transfers for Singapore XRP Users

Crypto exchange Gemini has upgraded its services for XRP users in Singapore by allowing direct XRPL transfers. This move eliminates extra steps and provides faster, cheaper access to XRP.

On August 25, Gemini co-founder Tyler Winklevoss announced the update on Twitter, calling it 'Big news for the Ripple Army in Asia.'

The new feature allows eligible users in Singapore to send XRP directly between their Gemini accounts and external XRPL addresses. This means users no longer need to convert XRP into another asset before moving funds between platforms.

With this change, XRP transfers become cheaper, faster, and easier for Gemini users in Singapore. Lower fees are expected as users can now send XRP directly through XRPL without paying high Ethereum network fees.
