Gemini Enables XRP Transfers Via XRPL for Singapore Customers

Gemini has expanded its services in Singapore by enabling XRP transfers via the XRPL network for customers in the region. This move comes after the exchange previously allowed buying, selling, and storing of XRP for Singapore users.

The new functionality allows eligible users to transfer XRP between Gemini accounts and external XRPL addresses, providing more flexibility and control over their assets. Users can also withdraw tokens from Gemini directly to compatible addresses on the XRP Ledger.

Gemini's decision to enable native XRP transfers in Singapore is part of its broader strategy to expand its presence in Asia, where it has received in-principle regulatory approval for a Major Payment Institution license application in Singapore.
