Gemini Expands to Stock Trading with 0% Commissions Across US

Gemini has introduced 0% commission stock trading for most US states as part of its goal to become a comprehensive financial app covering both crypto and equities.

The company announced this feature on July 7. At present, users in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Massachusetts, Texas, Puerto Rico, Washington, D.C., and Guam are unable to access it. The real-time market data will be provided by Nasdaq.

Gemini's co-founder and president Cameron Winklevoss stated that the firm has over a decade of experience in building financial platforms. It started with crypto and is expanding to include stocks so users can manage their entire financial lives through the app.
