Gemini Expands XRP Support in Singapore with Native Ledger Transfers

Gemini has expanded its support for XRP in Singapore by allowing eligible users to transfer XRP directly through the XRP Ledger. This move enables Singapore customers to have greater control over their XRP while connecting Gemini accounts with external XRPL addresses.

The new functionality provides a direct connection between Gemini customers and XRPL infrastructure, enabling them to transfer XRP to self-custody wallets or other supported platforms without relying solely on Gemini's internal ecosystem.

Gemini co-founder and CEO Tyler Winklevoss announced the rollout, describing it as significant news for XRP users across Asia. The expansion comes as XRP continues gaining broader institutional and market attention.
