Gemini IPO Price Range Boosted Amid Institutional Confidence
Gemini, the cryptocurrency exchange founded by the Winklevoss twins, has increased its proposed IPO price range to $24-26 per share. This represents a 37% boost in valuation expectations, with the company now targeting a $3.08 billion valuation.
Nasdaq has committed to purchasing $50 million in shares through a private placement concurrent with the IPO, further demonstrating institutional confidence in Gemini's business model.
The exchange plans to sell 16.67 million shares at the elevated price range, aiming to raise $433.3 million in proceeds. The offering represents the third major cryptocurrency exchange to go public after Coinbase and Bullish.
