Gemini Predicts CLARITY Act Could Send XRP Price Soaring to $30
Google's AI model, Gemini, has made some predictions about the potential price impact of the CLARITY Act on XRP. The bill, which has been postponed to September, aims to codify XRP as a digital commodity under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission.
Gemini projects that passage of the bill would lead to an immediate price range of $2.50 to $4.50 for XRP, with a possible re-test of its all-time high of $3.65. However, the AI also notes that crypto markets often experience a 'buy the rumor, sell the news' retracement before sustained institutional buying begins.
The medium-term forecast is driven by institutional capital flows, and Gemini predicts a price range of $5 to $10 for XRP, with a base-case figure of $8. This scenario assumes between $4 billion and $8 billion in spot ETF inflows over the six to twelve months following passage of the bill.
The upper range of Gemini's forecast, $15 to $30, is conditional on developments that go beyond the legislation itself. The AI states that for XRP to reach these levels, two secondary triggers would need to follow: active adoption by U.S. banks for real-time cross-border settlement and broader financial infrastructure integration.
