Gen Z Dominates Binance Stablecoin Trading with $80 Billion in Year-to-Date Volume
Binance has released data showing that Gen Z users make up 44% of its stablecoin-based trading platforms, according to Wu Blockchain's recent tweet.
The findings from Binance Research indicate that Gen Z is not only the largest user group for Binance Direct Stocks and bStocks but also accounts for about 45% of TradFi perpetual users.
This trend reflects a significant pivot towards younger investors who are increasingly engaging with digital financial products. Notably, Gen Z's share of newly onboarded TradFi users has climbed from 41% in January to 47% in July, showcasing their expanding influence.
With young traders generating approximately $80 billion in trading volume year-to-date, this demographic is proving to be a vital driver for Binance's platform growth. Over 90% of TradFi users across all generations are based in emerging markets, indicating a potential for further expansion in these regions.
